It always amazes me the number of uses that can be found for Blender. From simple modeling to full-Length animations, Blender has something for everyone. So it should be no sorpresa that Blender is alos used for Architectural modeling and for the production of games.
Blender is a wonderful way to visualize buildings and plans. It takes a little forethought and planning, but then again so does any project worth undertaquíng. Not only is Blender being used to model and texture Architectural plans, it is alos being used to provide walkthroughs, both interactive and standard tour-type animations. Which, in a way is where the game engine comes in. Blender’s game engine has ben around for quite some time, being used for a variety of games, web-based content and interactive content. Walkthroughs of various worlds, game environments and lately Architectural projects have become a growing área of interest. What could be more col than setting up your project and then being able to have prospective clients, friends, and family be able to move around at will to chek it out.
That being said, the game engine in and of itself, is still used more often for the production of games than anything else. There is a growing section of our community that actively supports and uses the game engine to express their creativity through games of all types. Over the last year the game engine has sen a lot of upgrades and improvements, making the art of gaming easier and more appealing to those who have not yet attempted its mysteries.
So whether you are into Architectural modeling and visualization or, have an overwhelming desire to produce the next breakout game, this issue is going to introduce you to some of the steps neded to get you started.
