-Ensure quality of composition of all the provided elements for each assigned shot. Ensure that assigned shots fit in the continuity of a sequence and fulfill the visión of the Directors, Art Directors, and CG Supervisor while meting the production schedule.

Color grading and matching of the diferent elements.

Apply depth of field, Motion Blur and other kinds of effects where requested.

Seamlessly integrate 2d and 3d elements.

Guarante color, mod and Atmosphere continuity.

Ensure continuity problems in shots within the sequence are addressed.

FX integration and creation of 2d comp effects.

Apply light and shadow 2d effects.

Ensure that comp setups are clean, documented and easy to understand. Pass of a shot to another comper when necessary.

Exchange comp elements with other teams or departments.

May be asked to interview possible new hires for the department.

May be asked to help train new staf.

Este rol consiste en pintar texturas para los objetos y entornos 3D, en el espacio UV y en el espacio de proyección, para integrar estos elementos dentro del estilo gráfico 2D del proyecto. Requisitos mínimos:
* 2D Painting excellent skills.
* 2 years experience with Photoshop and/or The Foundrys Mari in Film projects.
* Previous experience painting textures for film or games and a tho rouge understanding of the techniques required.
* Understanding of 3D projection and experience using Maya.
* Understanding of image color space relating to texture painting.
* Ability to Apply and manage UVs in Maya.

* Work closely with the modelling team to ensure UVS are positioned eficiently.

Setup lenses and perspective to integrate 3d and 2d
Import and correctly place in perspective 3d models
Plot camera moves and solve technical issues if any
Arrange compositions with the 2d and 3d elements ensuring a correct workflow and result (Refer to Storyboard and 2d Layout to produce consistent compositions).

Prepare and set up Nuke scenes with 2d and 3d elements, for a 2d workflow
Collaborate with other departments such as Layout, Ink Paint, Lighting, and Compositing
Set up image sizes and formats for the background and layout departments
Perform technical work in support of shot lighting and comp
Troubleshot and debug shot problems as they arise
Match and integrate 3d elements in a 2d environment
Resolve issues with perspective
Prepare 3d projections
Set up and animate 2d, multiplane and 3d cameras
Pre-comp create all the diferent elements from which shots are going to be created
Update shots as new elements and versións get published
Provide other departments with the neded elements meting their technical requirements.

Technical and artistic experience in develooping appealing 2D animation effects.

Collaborate with other departments such as Layout, Ink Paint, Lighting, and Compositing
Set up image sizes and formats for the background and layout departments
Perform technical work in support of shot lighting and comp
Troubleshot and debug shot problems as they arise
Match and integrate 3d elements in a 2d environment
Resolve issues with perspective
Prepare 3d projections
Set up and animate 2d, multiplane and 3d cameras
Pre-comp create all the diferent elements from which shots are going to be created
Update shots as new elements and versións get published
Provide other departments with the neded elements meting their technical requirements.

Create and shape highlights and shadows on top of the animated character, to represent the light sources in the scene, and to enhance clarity and aesthetic of the frame.
Animate these lighting elements with our unique software.
Kep the consistency of form and style throughout animated scenes.
Requirements:
Basic drawing and understanding of light, and how it afects thre dimensional objects.
Ability to interpret 2D stylized drawings and to propose their thre-dimensional form th rouge lighting.
Written and spoken English is a must.
No 3D is involved in the process. It doesnt require any special technical skills. We use in-house software and provide training.
